Borgata Spring Poker Open: The Week In Photos

Five full days of poker action have come and gone in the 2013 Borgata Spring Poker Open. In that time six tournaments have played to completion and a seventh is still going on (Event 6: $500 + $60 + $100 Big Stack Black Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry) is still playing out), new winners have been crowned, players have picked up milestone cashes and finishes and much more.

Here is a look back at the week in photos -

Clyde Forteau celebrated with his tablemates when he scored his first ever live tournament cash as the 119th place finisher for $1,154 in Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry)

Alik Sitnyakovsky picked up two cashes this week, initially for $1,101 as the 103rd place finisher in Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry). He then made a deep run in Event 5: $260 + $40 Modified Shoot Out NLH and finished third place behind Michael Cutro and Hoa Minh Nguyen for $6,408

World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open main event champion Andy Hwang stacked up the chips during Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry) and seemed to not have a care in the world. The newly inaugurated member of the WPT Champions Club was splitting his attention between the table and his I-Pad. Hwang finished 116th for $1,154, adding a little more to his lifetime live tournament earnings of just shy of $1 million

Dave Inselberg has been a familiar face around the Poker and Signature Rooms so far this week, playing in several tournaments already

Daniel Buzgon added a little more to his live tournament winnings when he finished 69th in Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry) for $1,601.

Grace Sun bubbled the official final table of Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH, walking away with $1,112

Dwyte Pilgrim his another career milestone. This time the Borgata regular picked up his 81st career cash for $941 when he finished 13th in Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH. Having over $2.1 million in lifetime tournament earnings, Pilgrim was more than happy to keep adding to that number

Marguerite Spagnuolo wore a special item while firing three bullets in Event 5: $260 + $40 Modified Shoot Out NLH: a good luck bracelet given to her by her nine year old daughter Adriana

Mike Dentale made his ninth Borgata Poker Open final table in Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH. He was eliminated when he moved his short stack all-in in the dark for sixth place and $4,278

Robert "Rizzi" Aronowitz has had a lot to happy about this week. Aronowitz cashed twice in as many days, first as the 118th place finisher in Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry) for $1,551 and then as the 17th place finisher in Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH for $856. Aronowitz is currently at the final table of Event 6: $500 + $60 + $100 Big Stack Black Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry) and is guaranteed a third cash for no less than $1,551

The lovely Taya Kuznetsova was the last woman standing in Event 5: $260 + $40 Modified Shoot Out NLH, making it through to Round Two after firing only one bullet. Unfortunately, Kuznetsova was eliminated before making the money

Borgata legend Will "The Thrill" Failla added yet another Borgata win to his resume when he took down the 278-player field in Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH. That makes four Borgata first place finishes in a major tournament series and 10 final tables. "Winning never gets old at the Borgata," Failla Tweeted in the early morning hours after his win

Phong "VIP" Nguyen finished runner-up to Will Failla in Event 4: $350 + $50 Deep Stack Semi-Turbo NLH for $14,116 and earned his second cash of the Spring Poker Open. Nguyen made a deep run in the kickoff tournament, Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry), finishing 28th for $2,905

Jason Rivkin added two seventh place finishes to his resume. Rivkin first finished seventh in Event 3: $400+$50 Omaha H/L 8B (Re-Entry) for $1,377. He then went on to finish seventh in Event 5: $260 + $40 Modified Shoot Out NLH for $1,554

Michael Cutro won his second Borgata trophy when he shot down the field in Event 5: $260 + $40 Modified Shoot Out NLH. With the win, Cutro also picked up his second cash of the 2013 Borgata Spring Poker Open. Cutro finished 46th for $2,120 in Event 1: $500 + 60 Deep Stack NL (Re-Entry)
